Preschool Program

 

Curriculum

 The curriculum is based on the developmentally appropriate practices of preschool children.  These activities include music, physical play, dramatic play, prayer, early science, pre-math and pre-reading skills and craft projects. Individual progress is stressed, also learning to cooperate and share in a peer group situation

BEHAVIOR GUIDANCE

Our program promotes a positive approach to managing the behavior of all children.  To accomplish this goal, we use the techniques of prevention, positive redirection, limit setting, problem solving and managing behavior (Renewal Time).

COMPUTERS

COMMUNICATION
Open communication between parents and staff is essential.  Your child will benefit from parent/teacher communication.  Avenues of communication which are provided by the school include:

Phone and Written Communication
Accident Reports
Parent’s Bulletin Board

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
Parents are encouraged to become involved in their child’s development.  Some of the activities which demonstrate their involvement include:

STAY AND PLAY
A Supervised Play Situation

Available to children enrolled in the school who have reached their third birthday and who are toilet trained.  These sessions give children another opportunity to interact with other children, while also providing parents with additional time at a reasonable per-use cost.
